As a Houston Engagement Photographer, my favorite thing is learning the stories of my couples. I genuinely love to hear all the little details of how my couples met, fell in love, and their engagement story. These two college sweethearts met while attending Sam Houston State University. It is a story of sorority girl meets fraternity boy, they fall in love and get married. Abby has always dreamed about her dream man-he was confident, loves to be outdoors, and gives life his all. When she met John, she knew he was that dream man. John and Abby quickly became smitten for each other. Throughout the years of dating, they fell more and more in love. In November 2018, John got down on one knee in front of Abby’s family and asked her to be his wife. It was an easy “YES” for Abby to shout!
When planning their engagement session, Abby mentioned that John’s family has a ranch just north of Houston. They thought it would be perfect to do their engagement photos on the family ranch, as this ranch is where they share some of their favorite memories together. During the engagement session, we hoped on the cart and drove around the ranch to find the best locations and let me tell yall, this ranch did not disappoint one bit. With such variety on the ranch, we were able to capture their love beautifully that day.
I cannot wait for their October wedding. It is going to be one to remember!
