When Reed Gallagher, reached out to me wanting me to join him on his new project, I couldn’t have been more honored. I have learned a lot from Reed and his team. They have truly helped me grow personally and professionally. Reed began telling me about his vision for Elevate & Educate and I immediately knew it was going to be an amazing journey. We wanted to kick off this new educational platform with a styled shoot of our own to showcase both of us and what we can create together.

We began putting together the vendors for Fine Art shoot and we knew that The Grand Texana would be the perfect venue to host this shoot. Not only is the venue stunning, but the owners have become like family to us. Stormye and Anne are the sweetest people. The venue is in Hempstead, Texas just out on 290 if you are heading to Austin from Houston. It features a beautiful white barn that has the reception hall and an amazing chapel.

One of my favorite parts of this shoot was working with our amazing models, Ali and Brandon. I met Ali when we were both back at Sam Houston State University, we both were in Zeta Tau Alpha. Honestly, back then, I really did not know Ali that well, so this was an amazing opportunity to reconnect and build a stronger relationship with her. There was so much laughter and joy that filled the day! Ali and Brandon are a perfect match for each other. These two are saying “I do” this summer on the beaches of Florida! Anita from Rouged and Radiant, did the perfect hair and makeup to highlight Ali’s stunning big and blue eyes. Ali blew us all away with her sultry looks in this amazing gown from Brickhouse Bridal.

The florals were STUNNING. Honestly, I could not have imagined them to be more beautiful than they turned out! This was my first time working with Casa de Flores, and I can assure you that this will not be my last. Mariela took our inspiration and absolutely slayed it with these florals!
