A Moody Station 3 Houston Wedding

Lauren and Jake’s wedding at Station 3 Houston wedding venue was stunning! I loved the moody color palette, the vibes, and the décor! It was such a great style and everything was seamless! It was a rainy day in Houston so we had to play around with the weather app, but otherwise everything about this day was perfect! I was also able to work with an incredible team of vendors such as Hannah from Loose Ends Event Design and a talented florist Amanda Bee Floral, who helped bring the beautiful design to life! And to top it all off, Lauren and Jake were such an amazing and kind couple to work with!

Getting Ready With Lauren

Lauren looked absolutely STUNNING. And her florals? Seriously gorgeous! I just couldn’t get enough of their bold color palette and the way that Amanda Bee Floral came through! I was also such a fan of Laurens dress from Alice in Ivory with the off shoulder sleeves! This was a December wedding, yet it felt more like a October/November wedding with the beautiful fall foliage that was in the backdrop of many of their bridal party shots!

Getting Ready With Jake

Jake also got ready at Station 3 Houston wedding venue and I just loved these outdoor shots with him and his groomsmen! Truly, those fall colors were just poppin’ outside, so I’m glad we were able to work around the rain for some outdoor shots!

First Looks, Emotional Letters, and Portraits Outside of Station 3 Houston Wedding Venue

Lauren and Jake had the sweetest first looks just outside of the venue. It was truly such a special moment to capture. They also exchanged some notes to each other and they couldn’t help but get emotional. And let me tell you, no matter how many times I capture a couples first looks, I still get a bit teary eyed as well because these moments are so touching. This was also when we got a majority of their portraits together since the rain had let up for a bit!

A Beautiful Indoor Station 3 Houston Wedding Ceremony

Lauren and Jake’s indoor Station 3 Houston wedding ceremony was perfect! I loved their setup and how Lauren came walking down the stairs with her father right into the floral lined ceremony aisle. The arch was so lush and everything was just perfect!

A Bold, Moody & Fun Station 3 Houston Wedding Reception

Lauren and Jake’s indoor Station 3 Houston wedding reception was no less beautiful than every other part of their day! They had a sweet outdoor cocktail hour before the reception started, and it was perfect! Hannah with Loose Ends Event Design really just nailed the entire look. I was (and still am) obsessed! This wedding was a true example of how you can go with whatever color palette or design you want for your wedding day and it will be beautiful. You don’t have to go with the trendy styles just because. You can do your wedding exactly as you envision it, and it will be the best day because it was what YOU love! Overall this was such a fun and lively reception, and everyone had the best night celebrating these two sweet souls!
