Peach Creek Ranch Wedding
Peach Creek Ranch wedding venue is located in College Station and was everything Katie and Mills dreamed of for their wedding day. Katie and Mills love hosting people. They felt their wedding day was the pinnacle of “hosting”. Everything from their vendor team, music and the tiniest of details was meticulously thought through to reflect their life together and the love they had for everyone there. Truly, this wedding was a lovely reflection of everything this couple stands for!
Getting Ready at Peach Creek Ranch
Katie and Mills had the opportunity for their entire bridal party and their spouses to stay on site with them. Peach Creek Ranch has fabulous bride and groom cottages as well as a Barndominium that accommodates 28+ guests. Katie and Mills knew having everyone together for the entire weekend to celebrate together would be such a fun and special experience. When it came time to get ready, the bride tribe and groomsmen were ready to go. Joy, laughter and lots and lots of love filled the cottages!
First Looks
During the planning process, Katie was absolutely sure she wanted to do a first look with her father. But, she was not sure about having a first look with Mills. After we discussed the pros and cons, she and Mills decided to go for it. Katie told me it was the best advice and absolutely the best decision. She shared, “Not only did we get an opportunity to center ourselves on our big day, but we had an hour of downtime with all of our friends. We spent that bonus time laughing and relaxing before all the ceremony jitters! We didn’t expect to have that time together. But, we continuously reflect on how meaningful it was and how much fun we had in that hour!”
The Bridal Party
Since Katie and Mills chose to do a first look, we were able to capture couple portraits and bridal party photos before the ceremony. And boy was it a blast! The peach bridesmaids dresses, the gorgeous florals and the yellow couch was picture perfect! This entire wedding party had the most amazing vibe. There was no lack of energy! Just love and support for the blessed couple.
Outdoor Wedding Ceremony
It was a beautiful day for an outdoor ceremony by the water. A rustic, boho floral arch set up was everything Katie had dreamed of. Filled with such sweet, sentimental moments, these two became husband and wife.
After the wedding, I asked Katie and Mills what advice they would give to couples planning their wedding:
“Enjoy it and stretch out planning if you can! We spent two years planning and we started booking vendors early. This was the best decision for us because we didn’t have to compete for availability with our couples or get turned down by a favorite vendor! Some thought we were a little crazy booking up so far in advance, but it truly made for our perfect vendor team!”
A Vibrant Reception
No detail was left undone for this wedding! The welcome table included unique jars and vases with guests names and table numbers etched in. It was absolutely the most creative display. A vintage world globe and a wooden bench were there for guests to sign. And a vintage phone!! Guest could leave a message for the couple to hear. What a gift! How much fun will Katie and Mills having listening to those recorded messages for years to come. A string quarter and dueling pianos made for a highly energetic reception. Guests danced the night away. Katie and Mills enjoyed a grand exit through bright orange and blue poms representing Auburn University.
Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Baker! Thank you for letting me be a part of your celebration. It was such an honor! Wishing you the very best as you begin your lives together as husband and wife.
