A Classic Sandlewood Manor Wedding

Sierra and Marshall had such a stunning wedding at Sandlewood Manor here in Houston, Texas! The details of this wedding were immaculate! Aside from taking place at my favorite Houston wedding venue, they also had one of my favorite wedding planners on their team, SBMoore and Co! The way a wedding day with a good planner flows is so different, and this wedding ran so smoothly and the design was gorgeous! Sierra and Marshall are such a sweet couple, and it was truly an honor to be a part of their big day! They also had rehearsal dinner coverage for their day, which a lot of couple are doing.

Getting Ready With The Bride at Sandlewood Manor

Sierra was absolutely GLOWING on her special day! You could truly feel the happiness radiating from her and her smile. The bridal suite at Sandlewood Manor is so spacious and offers large windows for beautiful natural lighting to shine through. Sierra had such beautiful floral detailing on her dress, which SBMoore and Co included elements from the dress and carried it throughout the entire design from the invitation suite to even the cake, which you’ll see later on!

A Romantic First Touch & Look Outside of Sandlewood Manor

Sierra and Marshall shared the sweetest first touch and first looks outside of Sandlewood Manor. Capturing the first time a couple sees each other before the wedding ceremony is always so special, and seeing the reactions never gets old! They also exchanged private vows to one another, and of course, had a hard time holding back the tears. You can see just how amazed the two both were to see each other in their wedding attire!

A Beautiful Sandlewood Manor Wedding Ceremony

This Sandlewood Manor wedding ceremony was full of such beautiful, classic, and elegant detailing. The ceremony space that Sandlewood Manor has to offer is stunning, and it has the largest windows letting natural lighting flow into the space for the ceremony. I loved the simple florals as well. The details of this wedding day felt so minimal and didn’t overpower the naturally beautiful space. They even had Third Floor Strings playing as Sierra walked down the aisle, and it was perfect! And of course, as Sierra came down the aisle arm in arm with her father, she was starting to get emotional. This ceremony was so beautiful, and full of so much love and warmth for the two.

As you can tell, Sierra and Marshall had a large wedding party. They are obviously so loved, and I adored the energy that their bridesmaids and groomsmen brought on their special day! There’s just nothing quite like a classic white and black wedding, and Sierra and Marshall nailed it!

Bride and Groom Portraits From This Classic Houston Wedding

After getting photographs of Sierra and Marshall together with their wedding party, we did some bride and groom portraits while their guests enjoyed cocktail hour. Sandlewood Manor provides the perfect backdrop for portraits with it’s beautiful architecture, well maintained lawn, and water fountains! I also loved how playful and full of laughs these two were.

A Lively Sandlewood Manor Cocktail Hour & Wedding Reception

Sierra and Marshall had a beautiful cocktail hour for their guests at the Sandlewood Manor. Everyone enjoyed mingling before the reception, and Sierra and Marshall even enjoyed a private dinner together on the Sandlewood Manor balcony. When Sierra and Marshall seen the stunning reception space, they were speechless. It was so gorgeous, and they loved every part of it! They also had the cutest Bluebell ice-cream cake aside from their gorgeous wedding cake which had intricate detailing that matched the brides dress. Sierra and Marshall definitely know how to party with their people, and they had the best time dancing with everyone while The Drywater Band played! At the end of the night, they had a fun sparkler wedding exit which perfectly ended their night!
