Erica & Rod’s wedding at the Houston Oaks Country Club was truly one for the books! This day had all the magic, elegance, emotion, and a whole lot of FUN. It was at a dream venue that most couples can only hope for, and a couple who rolled with every moment like total pros.
An Elegant Wedding Rehearsal Dinner at The Clubs at Houston Oaks
The night before Erica and Rod said “I do,” they welcomed their closest family and friends to an intimate, rehearsal dinner. It was hosted inside the wine cellar at The Houston Oaks Country Club. From the moment guests stepped into the candlelit space, the mood was set: warm, romantic, and full of anticipation! The design was beautiful! A long, elegant table stretched beneath the vaulted stone arches, decorated with ivory linens, golden chargers, and lush floral arrangements in a palette of blush, ivory, and dusty rose. Taper candles in shades of red and cream glowed softly in glass hurricanes, casting a beautiful light across the table and florals!

Getting Ready with Erica
The morning of the wedding started slow and sweet exactly how it should be! Erica wore the cutest feather-trimmed pajamas, sipping champagne and writing the sweetest letter to Rod. Just taking a few quiet moments to soak it all in before the whirlwind began. She then got ready surrounded by her girls, all in matching robes and slippers, buzzing with excitement. As Erica slipped into her dress, the room stopped. She looked absolutely stunning!
The Ceremony at The Houston Oaks Country Club
The ceremony was such a sweet mix of elegance and emotion from the dreamy walk down the stone path to that just married dip kiss moment that had everyone cheering. The venue’s little stone chapel was giving major European countryside vibes (without the flight!). It made the perfect backdrop for these two to say “I do.” Lush florals and classic string music surrounded guests, making the entire moment feel like a scene straight out of a romance movie.
The Wedding Party
This wedding party looked straight out of an editorial spread with their classic black tuxes, soft yellow bridesmaid dresses, and lush, romantic florals. The neutral palette paired with the timeless stone chapel made for the dreamiest portraits! We kept things structured and refined, but let loose for a few candid shots! Because those in-between moments always tell the best stories! The bride and her girls were glowing with joy as they toasted champagne under a chandelier and made their way down the aisle, bouquets in hand. Every detail felt intentional and elevated, without ever losing the fun!

Erica and Rod’s wedding portraits at The Houston Oaks Country Club were such a dream! Between the hanging Spanish moss, the peaceful lakeside views, and those gorgeous stone walls, every corner of the venue gave us the perfect backdrop. They almost didn’t do a first look but they did and it was the best decision! Erica looked stunning in her fitted gown with that sheer back detail (seriously, obsessed), and Rod couldn’t stop smiling at her the entire time. These two were so sweet and laid-back—it made capturing their love feel so natural and fun. You can just feel how much they love each other in every photo.

From the moment you stepped into their reception space at The Houston Oaks Country Club, you were greeted with dreamy draped ceilings, golden chairs, and tables dressed in the prettiest patterned linens that felt like a garden party meets timeless elegance. Each table was sprinkled with delicate bud vases, glowing taper candles, and soft, romantic blooms in creamy whites, blush, and sage. Every corner was curated with so much care, down to the chic place settings with gold-rimmed glassware and soft, neutral napkins. Their design was thoughtful, fresh, and full of personality, just like the two of them!

The reception was the best kind of party! The kind that felt equal parts heartfelt and high-energy from the very first moment. Erica and her groom made their grand entrance hand-in-hand, absolutely glowing, greeted with cheers, high-fives, and a whole lotta love. The dance floor was set under dreamy draping and twinkle lights, and their first dance waws a total movie moment. And then, Erica’s outfit change! She slipped into the perfect second look. This reception was the kind of celebration that you never want to end every moment filled with love, laughter, and alllll the good vibes!
