Why I Love Photographing a Spring Wedding in St. Augustine
One of the biggest perks of traveling for weddings is getting to document love stories in places that feel completely different from one another. Saint Augustine has such a unique mix of coastal beauty and historic architecture that it gives couples so much variety without needing to travel all over town. You can go from quiet brick streets to palm-lined courtyards and beautiful gardens all within a few minutes. Brooke and Hunter made the most of every part of it. Their portraits wandering through downtown felt effortless, and the colorful streets paired perfectly with their spring-inspired palette. It’s the kind of location that feels timeless while still letting couples make it completely their own.
The Colorful Details That Brought the Day to Life
If there was one thing that stood out immediately, it was the color. Brooke’s bouquet was filled with vibrant pinks, peaches, yellows, oranges, and lavender blooms that instantly set the tone for the day.
