Arrowhead Hill Wedding

Nestled in the back roads of Montgomery, Texas sits Arrowhead Hill wedding venue. With its ranch style gray barn and its gorgeous white chapel, it was the perfect setting for Liz and Allison to marry. Not only were the grounds lush and the sunsets spectacular, the on-site cottage accommodations allowed for all of their family and friends to gather and spend more time together celebrating these two.

Getting Ready

This day was filled with so much joy and support for Liz & Allison. They started the day by hanging out and getting ready together with their closest friends and family. Neither of the ladies had seen each other’s wedding dress. They had been keeping it a secret for so long from each other. Their bouquets, with burgundy pops of color, were lovely. Their wedding party was dressed in black which made the florals pop and, more importantly, the two brides stand out even more.

First Look with Dad

Both Liz and Allison wanted to have a special moment with their dads before they saw each other fo the first time. A first look with dad was the perfect way to give them that special moment. These are such tender moments and I always love seeing dad’s reaction when he sees his baby girl in her wedding dress for the first time.

The Brides’ First Look

Excitement mounted as the day went on and Allison and Liz, having not seen each other’s dresses yet, were so excited for their first look together. During the first look, Liz & Allison opened their eyes to see their beautiful soon-to-be wife. They were both in tears over each other’s beauty! Although they did not see each other’s dress when they selected them, the dresses matched perfectly together! Each dress showed off the bride’s personality and together, they blended beautifully.

The Ceremony At Arrowhead Hill

It was such site seeing each father walk his daughter down the aisle. We were able to photography from the balcony to capture the sheer beauty of this ceremony. The room was filled with love, respect and admiration.

The Reception

This reception was a total blast! Every detail was perfect and a reflection of the love Liz and Allison share fo each other. Liz’s family is from Louisiana and a wedding is not a WEDDING without a grande march Louisiana style! The brides led their guests around the dance floor celebrating them! The night was filled with lots of dancing, laugher and a double bouquet toss!! After dancing the night away, Liz and Allison left the reception running through a sparkler exit. Sparks were definitley flying as they two left to begin their new life together.

Liz and Allison, your wedding day was gorgeous! Thank you for letting the team at Aly Matei Photography cheer you on and capture all the special moments you both shared. Congratulations! We wish you the very best!
