Hughes Manor Wedding
When Jordan and Joanne reached about about photography for their October Hughes Manor wedding, I was so excited. We hit it off at our initial consult and I just knew this wedding was going to be something special. Hughes Manor, located in the heart of Houston, Texas, merges modern luxury with industrial chic. It was exactly what Jordan and Joanne had envisioned for their big day.
Joanne and Jordan’s focus was not only their love for each other, but family too. The day started with them both getting ready together, laughing and enjoying the company of their family by their side. They live by the quote, “Family is everything to me”. This was seen in a lovely gifted handkerchief with the quote monogrammed on it. Jordan also had the quote monogrammed inside her stunning white jacket. Special moments for this very special couple.
Hughes Manor Wedding First Look
Jordan and Joanne had an emotional first look. Tears filled their eyes when they saw each other. Their love for each other is undeniable and it was an honor for the team at Aly Matei Photography to be a part of their magical day. We had plenty of time built into the day to roam the grounds at Hughes Manor for portraits of this stunning couple.
Bridal Party Portraits
Because Joanne and Jordan chose to have a first look, we were able to capture portraits of the bridal party and the family before the ceremony. This left the lovebirds extra time to enjoy their entire wedding reception after the ceremony. While a first look may not be for everyone, I do recommend all my couples consider it.
Hughes Manor Outdoor Wedding Ceremony
Working together with Shannon at S.B. Moore & Company was the real deal! The day went off without a hitch. Jordan and Joanne thank to Shannon – everyone needs a Shannon!
This lovely outdoor ceremony at Hughes Manor was sweet and intimate, filled with love, joy and laughter. With their family and friends by their sides, this amazing couple vowed to love each other from now until eternity.
Elegant Reception
Colors of pale blue, gold and white filled the reception space at Hughes Manor. Sentimental toasts were made, dinner was served and guests danced the night away. We snuck Jordan and Joanne out for night time portraits, a favorite part of the wedding day for my team. Adorned with white cowboy hats, the newlyweds left the reception running through a sea of white, paper butterflies thrown by their family and friends.
Congratulations, Joanne and Jordan! It was such an honor for the Aly Matei Photography team to be a part of it. Wishing you the best years ahead as you build your family together.
